Yolanda took Jimi and Bentley to a Barn Hunt Trial December 11th held by the French Creek Barn Hunt Association in Cadiz, OH. She entered both Miss Jimi and Bentley at the Instinct Level. In this event, there are three tubes placed near the bales of hay and the dog has to signal to it’s handler which tube contains a live rat.
Miss Jimi identified the correct tube with the live rat in a time of 28 seconds. So now she has a RATI (Barn Hunt’s Rat Instinct) title amongst all of her other achievements.
Then Yolanda and 7-month-old Bentley had their time in the rat ring – – – it was the very FIRST time for Bentley……and she correctly identified the live rat in 16.50 seconds!!
