River Rock® Great Danes is a small show kennel located just southeast of Columbus, Ohio. Our name was derived from this picture of one of my early Great Danes. Without Ty, I would not be alive today. He is responsible for everything that has occurred after 4:30 am on April 21, 2011. That is when he carried and supported me down a 20′ hallway, down 2 flights of stairs, and across another 20′ to where my cell phone was located while I was having a heart attack. I lived in the country alone, and could not have done it by myself. He got me to my cell phone and I was able to call 9-1-1. For that I owe him for every single breath, every memory of every second that I have lived since. Ty is gone now, but I pay tribute to him by having every single Dane having “River Rock” in their registered name, as this is what we enjoyed most……hiking along rivers and woods.
